Bye bye 2014...

I actually can't believe 2014 is nearly over, it feels like this year has flown right passed me and I've barely been able to catch my breath.

It's been a rollercoaster ride this year for sure - from covering the Oscars in LA, to working on a showbiz show, to leaving my job, starting up a business and making my first TV pilot.

2014 is definitely an important year for me, and it will always be a special year because it's the year I started Goss.ie - took a huge risk that most people told me not to, left a cushy job and took a leap.

But it's also going to be the year I had a serious health scare. Lying in hospital just one week before Christmas feeling scared and in pain was truly horrible...but I did learn that I actually do have a selfie limit (no photos from my hospital bed).

It was a horrible few days though and I only properly feel recovered now, a full two weeks later. So looking after my health is my main priority for 2015.

It is really shocking that I can run a business, write scripts, spend hours on set, organise finances, train staff...but I've been letting my health slide. Well that's going to change from now on.

It wasn't all doom and gloom this year though. Through both sides of my career I have met and worked with some incredible people, made new friends for life and experienced things I never thought I would.

Here are my highlights of 2014 in pictures:

Filming my first TV pilot

Hope you all can look back on 2014 with happiness, even if there were low moments, hard times or heart break, every year is full of lessons to learn from and experiences that carve who we are meant to be.

I for one am grateful for everything I've been able to do in my life so far and my family and friends. I'm excited for 2015 and ready to get back to werk.
